No, you havent missed the Miss Tanzania Europe 2010 contest. But unfortunately we were forced to postpone the event to 2011 due to sponsorship reasons. But the good thing is, this will give us more time to organize an even greater event for 2011 and we will have more time for taking your applications! The website will be updated for the 2011 design in a few weeks. Stay tuned, we will be back!

Leyla Ally, the new Miss Tanzania EU 2009!

What a night. Leyla from sweden is the new Miss Tanzania EU 2009. Her appearance and naturalness convinced the jury that the tanzanian born beauty has to be crowned as the new Miss Tanzania EU.

The contest “Miss Tanzania Europe” calls for all young Tanzanians residing in one of the European Schengen states, to promote the beauty and diversity of our country all across this continent. After a quick but successful start in 2008 with Lucy Fundikira from the Netherlands as our first “Miss Tanzania Europe”, now Leyla became her successor in 2009.

The contestants have arrived!

Its just a few hours before the show, and the contestants have arrived. Please welcome Maurine, Susan, Leyla, Arlette and Aisha who made it to Essen to be part of Miss Tanzania Europe 2009. We had a chance to meet the girls last night and take a little spontaneous photoshoot. Please check out the Contestants 2009 site under “Events” to see more.

Where to get tickets?

Tickets for the event are available for 10,oo Euros each at the Afro Rainbow Shop, Juliusstr. 8 and Theresa Callshop, Viehofer Platz in Essen. You can also sent an e-mail to info@misstanzania.eu with your name and the amount of needed tickets to pre-register for 10,00 Euro ticket-pick-up at the door. Without registration normal ticket price at the day of the event is 15,00 Euro.
