The mission of the Miss Tanzania Europe Pageant is to promote Tanzania and its people in the rest of the World: Tourism, culture, the beauty of this East African Nation. We aim to further raise awareness on issues pertinent to Tanzania and most of all empower the Tanzania Queen to educate and enlighten communities as a goodwill ambassador for Tanzania.

Facts about Tanzania

Tanzania is located in eastern Africa at the Indian Ocean and is bordered by Kenya und Uganda in the north, Rwanda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo in the West as well as Malawi, Zambia and Mosambique in the south.

Tanzanias montaneus northwest situates the famous Mount Kilimanjaro, Africas highest peak. This and the beautiful Serengeti National Park, still one of the richest ecosystems on earth with more than 70 larger mammal and over 500 avifaunal species, are one of the most famous tourist destinations in Africa. The Serengeti, wich hosts the largest and longest overland migration of the world, is counted to one of the ten travel wonders of the world.

Also in front of Tanzanias 1.400 km coastline you will find the wonderful and famous island of Zanzibar, the so called “Spice Island”, nicknamed that because of the production of cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon and pepper.

40 million people from more than 126 enthnic groups with their own language and tradtions live in Tanzania. Swahili and english are mainly spoken.
